Where does Carbon 60 come from?
Carbon 60 is found in nature and space.
Carbon 60 is produced in the atmospheres of giant red stars and is found in the dust around stars in space suggesting it has been around a long time. What is Carbon 60?
Carbon 60, or C60 for short, is a collection of 60 carbon atoms forming what looks much like a hollow soccer ball. It is also called a bucky ball or fullerene. There are records indicating C60 was being used for health purposes as early as the1940s; however, it was not until 1996 that a team of scientists received the Nobel Prize for identifying this unusual molecule and its unique properties. Much research has been done since and scientists are calling C60 a "free radical sponge" and estimating it to be several hundred times stronger than other anti-oxidants.

The Famous French Study- Doubles the life span
In 2012 a team of scientists in Paris published a study on the research they had done with C60 on rats. In the study they dissolved C60 in olive oil for the rats to eat. After the scientists studied the rats’ blood, urine, and tissue samples, they discovered the rats that received the C60 increased their life span by almost 90% ! They also discovered the rats that received the C60 had no tumors.
